Kopi Luwak, one of Indonesian prime original coffee, has a special flavor and aroma. Luwak, also known as Musang Luwak or Paradoxurus hermaphroditus, only consumes ripe fruits. The ripe red coffee berries are consumed and naturally fermented in the digestive tract. The undigested coffee which are covered with the husk are processed and called as Kopi Luwak.
This coffee fame in Southeast Asia has been known for so long; then, it is widely famous for the gourmet coffee drinkers after the 1980’s publicity.
Kopi Luwak has become one of the world's most expensive coffee and included in the most coveted and preferred coffee list by coffee enjoyers.
